Alberr the Trickster Tortoise’s Digital Escape Room in Pioneer Park
Hello and welcome to our Digital Escape Room! This online escape room features Alberr the Interdimensional Traveling Tortoise creating puzzles for you to solve around Pioneer Park, located just outside the doors of Puyallup Public Library.
You can complete this escape room as a group or as an individual. You can compete against friends and try it multiple times. Just make sure you have fun!
If you are accessing this through a social media app, we recommend opening this escape room in a separate web browser. Cellular data or a mobile wifi hotspot are needed to run the escape room. Sorry, the library’s wifi does not reach throughout all of Pioneer Park. Please allow time for each picture to load on your screen. While some puzzle hints are located within the park, many hints are also in the pictures.
An OPTIONAL escape room kit can be obtained inside the library (during the library’s open hours). This kit is not needed to complete the escape room, but it does have paper and pencil to help you solve the puzzles.

What is a digital escape room?
A digital or virtual escape room uses technology (phones, tablets, or computers) to run through the scenarios to solve puzzles. The clues are completed by solving digital locks. Typically, these are answers to a question that must be answered correctly to unlock the next clue (or set of clues).
This escape room is completely free to play. It requires walking around Pioneer Park, a web browser, and an internet connection.
What age group is the escape room appropriate for?
The escape room has puzzles requiring logic, math, and spelling skills that most 4th grade and up participants should be able to complete independently. It is great fun for teenagers and adults!
How long does it take to do the escape room?
The escape room should take about 40 minutes to complete but that can vary greatly depending on the age, ability, and size of the group of participants.
Can I share it with family/friends/coworkers?
Anyone is more than welcome to share Alberr the Trickster Tortoise’s Digital Escape Room. We ask that if you share it on social media, please tag us (@PuyallupPublicLibrary) so we can see how far it has traveled. We only ask that no cost be associated with its use and credit be given to Puyallup Public Library.

We do not provide an answer key. There is no penalty for getting a wrong answer. Simply go back one screen and try again.
