Animal Control

Puyallup's pets and animals are kept safe by Metro Animal Services, a partnership among seven cities that is jointly operated by the cities of Puyallup and Sumner.

Licenses Are Required

If you live in the city of Puyallup, you are required to license your pets through Metro Animal Services. Not only does your annual license help your own pet return home safely, but your license also funds animal services to shelter, and feed lost and homeless pets while finding them forever families.

Online Licensing

Metro Animal Services offers online pet licensing. If you are a Puyallup resident, license your pet online. Or download a printable license application (PDF).
