Significant Tree / Critical Area Tree Removals

The city regulates the removal of 'significant' trees (in some situations), "Heritage Trees", trees on steep slopes, wetlands and wetland buffers, and stream buffers on private property. The following covers when a permit is needed for removal of these types of trees on private property.
