Pierce County Cities Enter into Interlocal Agreement

The Cities and Towns of Puyallup, Bonney Lake, Sumner, Orting, Buckley, Carbonado and Wilkeson are pleased to announce that they have entered into an Emergency Management Interlocal Agreement.  The City of Puyallup, as the lead agency, will be providing emergency management services including planning, preparedness, training, and exercise support to the participating jurisdictions.  This agreement will provide the opportunity for regional planning and preparedness efforts that will strengthen the abilities of the respective jurisdictions to be able to respond to, and recover from, emergencies and disasters.  The participating jurisdictions are looking forward to working together to serve their communities in a coordinated and collaborative effort.  Together, our region will be better prepared!

To learn more about this partnership, please contact Kirstin Hofmann, City of Puyallup Emergency Manager, at or 253-841-5400.
