[ARCHIVED] City Council/Notice of 2 Public Hearings

The Puyallup City Council will conduct two public hearings on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, for the purpose of considering two requests for a latecomer’s agreement for the following projects: 

(1) A water main installed as part of the off-site improvements for the warehouse development in the area of Shaw Road and Pioneer Way; and

(2) A storm water trunk line and outfall spillway installed in the vicinity of Shaw Road and Pioneer Way.

Both projects were completed and financed by Viking JV, LLC under City of Puyallup Permit #E-16-0251.  

The public hearings are open to the public and will occur in the City Council Chambers located on the 5th floor of City Hall, 333 S. Meridian.  The meeting will also be available via livestream or by Zoom.   Information on how to access the meeting virtually will be added to the agenda and published on the City’s website by 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday preceding the meeting.

All citizens are welcome to speak or provide written comments. Written comments will be accepted at info@puyallupwa.gov until 5:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting and will be distributed to the City Council prior to the meeting. For verbal comments during the public hearing, email your name and phone number to info@puyallupwa.gov and sign into the virtual meeting using the provided instructions.  There are two public hearings related to a latecomer’s agreements for Viking JV, LLC, so please specify if you are commenting on the stormwater trunk line or the water main project.
