[ARCHIVED] 2017 Fall Clean-Up

The City of Puyallup, in cooperation with DM Disposal, offers two curbside clean-up programs each year.This year's Fall Clean-Up will be the week of November 13 - 17. During this week, utility customers can set out extra garbage, extra yard waste and one major appliance to be recycled at no charge.

Extra Garbage: On your regular garbage day, you may leave up to three extra bags of garbage for curbside pickup.

  • Garbage must be in covered cans or garbage bags
  • Containers or bags should not exceed 40 pounds
  • Tires will not be accepted
  • Place containers or bags at the curb before 7 a.m.

Extra Yard Waste: Leave up to three extra containers of yard waste at the curb on your regularly scheduled yard waste service day.

  • Use garbage cans or biodegradable lawn waste bags
  • Containers or bags should not exceed 40 pounds
  • Place yard waste at the curb before 7 a.m.

Recycling Major Appliances: Utility customers may recycle one major appliance at no charge during fall clean up week.

  • Secure the appliance doors
  • Leave it at the curb no later than 7 a.m. Monday, November 13th
  • The appliance will be picked up by DM Disposal on your regular garbage pick-up day

Eligible appliances include: Refrigerator, freezer, range, furnace, washer, dryer, hot water tank, dishwasher, trash compactor.
