On April 19, Shaw Road was closed between 23rd and Manorwood for construction of a left-turn lane and other improvements.
Much progress has been made over the past three months. All of the deep excavation work and installation of new utility lines is finished; the remaining work will be at the road’s surface.
So far, this project’s completion is currently timing ahead of schedule.

Removed:
2,090 square yards of sidewalk
4,087 lineal feet of curb
2,701 cubic yards of large rock
Installed:
3,409 square feet of gravity block wall
2,797 feet of 12” diameter sewer pipe at 14-20’ deep
443 feet of 12” diameter storm pipe
904 feet of 18” diameter storm pipe
3,255 lineal feet of new curb and gutter (more to come)
