It's officially autumn, and Puyallup's Fall Clean-Up will be the week of November 12-16. This is the time when utility customers can set out extra garbage, extra yard waste, and one major appliance for pick up.
Extra Garbage
Leave up to three extra bags of garbage for curbside pickup on your regular garbage day.
- Garbage must be in covered cans or garbage bags
- Containers should not exceed 40 pounds
- Tires will not be accepted
- Place containers at the curb before 7 a.m.
Extra Yard Waste
Leave up to three extra containers of yard waste at the curb on your regularly scheduled yard waste service day.
- Use garbage cans or bio-degradable lawn waste bags
- Containers should not exceed 40 pounds
- Place containers at the curb before 7 a.m.
Recycling Major Appliances
Utility customers may recycle one major appliance at no charge this week.
- Secure the appliance doors
- Leave it at the curb no later than 7 a.m. Monday, November 12
Eligible appliances include:
Refrigerator, freezer, range, furnace, dryer, hot water tank, washer, dishwasher, trash compactor
