[ARCHIVED] Garbage pick-up this week

Due to current road conditions, DM Disposal will not service any areas in Puyallup today. We recognize that last Monday's collections were also missed due to hazardous conditions.

Weather permitting, DM will will implement a holiday schedule for the remainder of this week--i.e., areas normally serviced on Monday will be serviced on Tuesday, Tuesday's areas on Wednesday, and so on through Saturday. No yard waste will be collected this week to free up capacity for disrupted garbage collection. When normal services resume, DM will collect yard waste that was ready for pick-up but not collected due to the service disruption.

In the event that DM is not able to provide regularly scheduled collection services due to inclement weather, they will collect the equivalent of two weeks of each customer's subscribed service level on their next regular service day. The equivalent level will increase based upon the number of consecutive service weeks missed. Remember that because recycling and yard waste services are provided on an every-other-week basis, any missed recycle or yard waste services would not resume a regular schedule for two weeks.

DM Disposal provides inclement weather related service updates via its website and call center automated recording.  When collection services are cancelled, DM Disposal alerts its customers via an automated call blast, email blast, and/or a notification sent out through its app. Automated call blasts and email blasts will be sent out to the primary phone number and/or email address listed on the customer’s account. Customers may also download the Murrey’s app, free of charge, through the Apple App Store or Google Play and elect to receive notifications regarding their service.
