The Puyallup City Council has temporarily waived late fees for utility bills.

The action was taken at a special meeting earlier this week in recognition of the potential economic hardship to residents and local businesses resulting from the state of emergency declared in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The City has also modified its utility payment policy to allow for uninterrupted service on delinquent accounts.

These changes will remain in effect until 60 days after the state of emergency is rescinded.
