[ARCHIVED] Fireworks Regulations in the City of Puyallup

Persons may set off consumer fireworks in the city limits of Puyallup from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm on July 4th.

Consumer fireworks are the kind which can be purchased from various retailers or at licensed firework stands. Many fireworks available for purchase outside of the city are not legal to own or discharge in Puyallup.

No one may discharge fireworks in a public park or on a public street or sidewalk. Fireworks may only be discharged on private property with the permission of the property owner. Youth of 15 years and under are prohibited from possessing or discharging any fireworks unless directly supervised by an adult who is responsible for the underage person.

Puyallup’s fireworks regulations are contained in chapter 16.20 of the city’s Municipal Code.
