Why is my water yellow?
Yellow water occurs most often during the summer, when we are operating our supplemental wells. Iron and manganese are naturally occurring minerals; they are found primarily in our well water sources. Discolored water is most often described as "yellow water," but it can also appear red or brown. Customers most often notice yellow water against white backgrounds like bathtubs, sinks, toilets and hot tubs.
