What steps has or will the court take to ensure my safety during the COVID 19 pandemic?
  • Smaller groups of jurors will be brought in at one time to ensure safe and socially distance seating in the courtroom.
  • Each person arriving at the Courthouse will have their temperature taken via a hand-held touchless thermometer.
  • Masks are required to be worn in the Courthouse, if you do not have one then one will be provided to you.
  • Hand Sanitizer is available throughout the Courthouse.
  • Plexiglass has been installed around the witness box.
  • Increased cleaning and sanitization throughout the day.
  • Jury deliberation will occur in a courtroom as opposed to the jury deliberation room to allow for social distance seating.
  • Removal of shared snacks.  Only bottled water will be available but, jurors are permitted to bring their own water and snacks.
